Eid Reception 2019
The Eid Reception hosted at the House of Commons was a great success and well attended by a large number of British Pakistanis, Councillors, MPs, and Conservative Association Chairs. Chairman Conservative Friends of Pakistan Zameer Choudrey CBE SI PK welcomed everyone to the Reception. Aliya Afzal Khan was master of ceremonies for the event.
Keynote addresses were given by the Chairman of the Conservative Party, Rt Hon Brandon Lewis, The High Commissioner of Pakistan, HE Nafees Zakaria and Lord Ahmed of Wimbledon. London Mayoral Candidate Shaun Bailey and Director Ahmereen Reza spoke about the importance of diverse communities working together with the Conservative Party, Vice Chair Syed Qamar Raza offered the vote of thanks.
Guests enjoyed the food, lovely weather and views from Parliament’s Terrace.
